Mock Tartan

This is slip-stitch colour work with a tartan feel.  The designs in this pattern are for a wide blanket-style scarf or wrap and also a more narrow Kidsilk Haze scarf.  However, once you see the patterns, you will also see how easy it is to adapt these to any yarn and any size.

I rate this as easy – moderate.

Yarn A – 2 x 25g balls of Rowan Kid Silk Haze

Yarn B – 2 x 25g balls of Rowan Kid Silk Haze

Note:  both yarns are held double throughout

Needles

1 pair size 3.75mm needles or circular 60 – 80 cm long

1 pair size 4mm needles or circular 60 – 80 cm long

1 x size 3.75mm circular needle, 120 – 150cm long for sides
