Fable = fake cable. Looks like a cable but no cabling and it is much flatter. There are three items using this stitch. The Fable Scarf which is knitted flat and two Fable Neck Cowls knitted in the round. Your pattern will include all 3. The scarf is knitted flat and the cowls in the round.
I rate these as moderate.

6 x 50g balls of Rowan Baby Merino Silk DK (or c675m of other DK yarn) I used 5 balls but I only had 5.5g left. For information: 10 rows fable pattern over 96 sts needs 6g yarn; 4 rows garter st edge over 96 sts needs 4g.
3.75mm needles for the garter st edge at the end.

Fable Double Knit Cowl
Small: 22cm wide and 19.5cm long, laid out flat, folded in half.
Medium: 24cm wide and 22.5cm long, laid out flat, folded in half.
2 x 50g balls of Lotus Sunset or 2 x 50g balls of Rowan Baby Merino Silk DK
4mm needle that is 40cm long (tip to tip) or other 4mm needles to knit in the round
Approximately 200 beads, size 6
Fable Chunky Cowl
26cm by 32cm laid flat
2 x 100g hanks of Juniper Moon Farm Moonshine Chunky or 2 x 100g balls of Rowan Cocoon, or c200 m of another chunky yarn.
7mm needle that is 40cm long (tip to tip) or other 7mm needles to knit in the round.
