DK Lace Rib Throncho:  Roxy

Lily DK Throncho 1

This generous sewn-throw looks and feels lovely to wear and is very versatile.  Everyone I have modeled this on looks great in it – it is really very flattering.

It is  an all-over simple lace rib design, with a very brief row repeat and easily memorised.

YARN

c1,000 metres of DK yarn.  I used 8 hanks of Rowan Alpaca Colour but any 100% or blended animal fibre yarn will do.  I would avoid a 100% or very high plant fibre content as this is a large piece and that would probably continue to stretch it.

NEEDLES

4mm needles. I used a fixed cable circular needle, 80cm long, due to the weight of the knitting.

3.25mm needles.  I used a fixed cable circular needle, 80cm long, due to the weight of the knitting.

DETAILS
