Christmas Stars

star with sequins 2

A collection of starry decorations plus a festive star-shaped cushion make up this design package.

The stars are all knitted flat, and each side is knitted in one piece, so all you need to do is knit two, stuff and sew together.  The pattern is really easy to master, very cunning, and fast.  I offer them in basic, un-beaded options, plus with beads knitted in, or with sequins.  There is also a pattern for a festive cushion, and finally some additional ideas for star variations.

You can knit them in any 4 ply wool-based yarn, and I used Rowan Pure Wool 4 Ply, or Kidsilk Haze held double, or any of the yarns listed below.  Oddments can easily be used, or with a ball of 4 ply, you will easily have enough to make about 5 stars.
